It’s been a hot, hot summer, but we’re about to go out in a blaze of glory as the ABSP Stream Team brings you three days of wall-to-wall coverage of the British Matchplay Scrabble Championship on the ABSP YouTube channel, 29th–31st August.

It’s a super-stacked field, with nine ABSP GMs, five Exps, a former World Champion and two runners-up! And youth superstar Sam Crispin, second at the recent WYSC and rising so fast the titles haven’t had time to catch him up; and Brian Po working at a similar pace, opening this year with a Major win at the UK Open.

Add to that a lot of points up for grabs for the inaugural Summit Cup on the road to Malta, and it could be the last run for those wanting to bag a spot.

Host with the most, Joseph Bennett, will present the action, with Stewart Holden (IM) and Josh Sokol (IM) providing the expert analysis.
